CRi is seeking a Property Manager to manage maintenance and repairs for all CRi properties and oversee our team of Maintenance Technicians located across Northern Virginia and Richmond.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintenance of all CRi properties.
  • Manages staff of up to six (6) Maintenance Technicians.
  • Manages 24-hour on-call maintenance responsibilities.
  • Manages online CRi property management system. Dispatches, approves, and closes work tickets.
  • Supervises construction workers, subcontractors, delegates job assignments and provides follow-up inspections of work.
  • Coordinates purchase of repair materials and approves invoices.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with various contractors and suppliers.
  • Manages and reconciles all P-Card (purchase card) transactions from technicians.
  • Assists Facility Manager with Life Safety Code issues.

Other Job Functions:

  • Coordinates with staff to identify capital improvement needs.
  • Assists in volunteer property maintenance services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Typical Working Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm (40hrs)- weekends and on-call responsibilities as needed

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Five (5) years of experience in facility, property, construction, and fiscal management, architectural design and services of the assigned position.
  • Must have experience in electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and HVAC.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to do occasional heavy lifting (100lbs).
  • Construction work, yard work, lifting, moving.
  • Able to climb ladders.

Working Environment:

  • All CRi properties.

Supervision Received:

Under direct supervision of the Facility Manager and Director of Asset Management.


Supervision Exercised:

Responsible for the direct supervision of up to six (6) Maintenance Technicians. Responsible for managing construction workers, subcontractors, etc. Oversee the Facility Maintenance Department.
